A New Hybrid Decision-Making Model for Promoting Sustainable Social Rental Housing

The realization of sustainable social rental housing is regarded as an important policy to solve the burden, but often unsustainable. This study assesses sustainability housing. However, decision-making models, such classical hierarchy (AHP) used in current study, conflict with resolution complex influence relationship between evaluation dimensions/criteria. Based on this, we construct a new hybrid multi-attribute model (MADM) combining Fuzzy Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL), DEMATEL-based analytic network process (DANP) modified VIseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) method for assessment government-led (SRH) using Taiwanese experts subject investigation. DEMATEL found that economic (D1), core dimension, affects environmental (D3) (D2). Furthermore, criteria “cause” position, including reasonable development (C2), provision living facilities services needed (C5), adoption environmentally friendly technology equipment (C10), guaranteed rent lease (C1), acquisition working skill employment opportunities (C6) space planning design (C3), should receive more attention from decision makers because improving these can further enhance overall scheme. Combined DANP weight VIKOR, also indicate be optimized make selected case Taiwan. research proposes management strategy implications.
